- Shivarayan Reddy met Traffic Commissioner Shareen Begum
As part of Comcop’s expansion, it met Vijayawada Traffic Commissioner, DCP Smt Shareen Begum on Saturday to explain innovative approaches in improving community safety, public communication and technology-driven policing systems, said the organization’s founder, Mr Enugu Shivaryan Reddy. She expressed happiness that she responded positively. Mr Enugu Shivarayan Reddy said that she was encouraged by the COMCOP vision as it is essential for community safety. Creating an effective and transparent communication channel will create a better platform for citizens to strengthen their relationship with law enforcement. Smt Shareen Begum explained that the initiative focuses on using digital tools to facilitate complaint reporting, improve traffic management awareness and encourage greater civic participation among the youth.
He highlighted the importance of young students actively contributing, especially in solving urban governance challenges. He explained that the discussion also covered how technology data-based systems can help in better traffic control and how authorities can improve coordination among people. He hoped that students would be able to go beyond academic training to directly address real-world administrative problems. Mr Enugu Shivaryan said that apart from building a functional platform, through ComCop, the students aim to inculcate a culture of social responsibility and cooperation among various communities to solve public problems.
