About ‘Bigg Boss’…
-For me, who was born and raised in a middle-class family, the ‘Bigg Boss’ reality show was a great opportunity. My life changed a lot after that show. I used to travel in autos and boarded planes. Everything in this journey was wonderful. I will be indebted to ‘Bigg Boss’ for giving me such recognition for the rest of my life. I will never forget the craze that reality show brought to me when I entered as a constant in ‘Bigg Boss’ season-6. I didn’t know much about ‘Bigg Boss’. Suddenly, a good opportunity came. I went. Otherwise.. life seemed very rich there. I definitely had a very happy time in ‘Bigg Boss’. I am making the most of every opportunity that came my way and moving forward.
The goal you want to achieve…
-As an actor, I want to act in many films. I want to share the screen with big stars. If not, everything should be possible. Opportunities should come. Directors should write a role for us. We should immerse ourselves in the role written. We should act in a way that brings that role to life. The biggest challenge is to keep the audience’s attention in the theater. Currently, all filmmakers are facing this situation. Once upon a time, when we went to the theater to watch a movie, there were not many options to eat during the interval. However, popcorn or samosas. Now we have everything we need. Back then, watching a movie with our family was very different. There were many steps from going to the theater, parking, pushing people to buy tickets, standing guard so that no one pushes our family, to bringing popcorn during the interval. After watching the movie and coming out, it was a wonderful experience. Currently, these conditions in the theater have completely changed. To survive the competitive world, we also get a menu during the interval. If we are not sitting in the theater, suddenly a mobile phone flashlight will be lit somewhere. Theater staff will come with a menu card to serve our favorite food. They are bringing everything from popcorn to panipuri. When the panipuri comes, they will shine the flashlight again to see what pani it is made with. If we want to watch the movie, we have to endure all this. At the same time, even if the movie is not impressive at all, the parents who came with us will start talking about ‘waste of money’. When the movie reaches the climax, one person will get up and walk across the others watching the movie with the intention of getting out of the parking area. Amidst all these difficulties, even if the movie is not pleasing at all, the audience will not forgive us at all. That is why any movie we make should be liked by everyone.. Everyone should like it. Also, getting children to watch movies is the biggest problem nowadays. That too must be overcome. Only then will we grow as actors. There is no special formula for story selections. Any story should be seen from the audience’s perspective. I want to earn the name ‘This guy can do anything’. The audience also sees any film as that film. The goal should be to entertain them. Every actor’s career has a special role that is always remembered. My main goal is to act in such a role.
About criticism…
-We should welcome criticism in the same way we receive praise. Initially, it felt painful when we received criticism. I used to think that they would just go away because of their own mistakes. Compared to now, there were more comments on social media back then, so I learned to take such comments with a grain of salt.
About the trolling of celebrities…
-I don’t care about trolling at all. You should never wish for others to be destroyed. If you wish for that, you will be destroyed before them. You should never think of changing someone. I want everyone to be safe. I still don’t understand what pleasure they get from trolling. I don’t blame anyone for this. Celebrities are facing a lot of trouble with these trollings.
Roles I want to do….
– I want to play all kinds of roles and impress. There are times in life when I am under pressure like a tsunami. Standing in an industry that is swimming in an ocean. It is very important. Even if we make a small mistake, we have to go back. If I want to stand as an actor, who loves work, I need to find a good script. When I find one, I am confident that I will impress the audience with my acting. The rest is the grace of God. If I look back on my life, I have seen many ups and downs. There is no exception to any of them. Successes.. failures and problems greeted me like this. I am eagerly waiting for the future as an actor. I am more mature now. I understand my strengths.. weaknesses. The past years are like an experience for me. Tollywood heroes are updating day by day. They are making diverse films with new stories instead of being stereotyped and are providing good entertainment to the audience. With the Tollywood craze now reaching Hollywood levels, directors from other industries are showing interest in making films with our heroes. Especially Tamil directors are targeting Tollywood heroes and planning to do big projects with them. To excel in the film industry, you need talent as well as luck. Some directors have trouble finding dates for star heroes even if they have good stories. Even if they do find them, some problems arise and those projects get stopped.
The audience is God…
-I want to entertain the audience by choosing roles that are important for acting. I want to do roles that will always be remembered in the minds of the audience. There is more pressure if I do films that have the importance of the protagonist. I will work hard for the success of that film. Even so, success is not in our hands. Right now, I want to love my profession in that direction. I believe that I can do anything. I want to enjoy every stage of my career. I want to get the love and admiration of all sections of the audience. The audience is God. I want the encouragement of the industry.. The support of the audience to always be on me.
