Aleru, April 13 (Mabhoomi Times Correspondent): On Sunday, the CPM Urban Committee, under the auspices of Aleru Bus Stand, organized a protest by burning effigies of the central government demanding a reduction in the prices of gas, diesel and petrol increased by the Narendra Modi government at the center. On this occasion, CPM District Committee member MA Iqbal said that the Narendra Modi government at the Center is ruling in a way that burdens the poor and middle class in favor of corporates. Even though the assets of Adani Ambani are increasing hundreds of times, poverty and unemployment are increasing in the country. The economic policies followed by the BJP government led by Narendra Modi for the last 12 years have degraded the country. The poor are struggling without a chance to eat a full meal. He said that India has fallen to 104th place in the Global Hunger Index. He said that the country has seen the situation in all sectors. He said that even though gas prices were increased in the past, the burden was not placed on the consumers of the Ujjwala Yojana, which was given free to the poor. But this time, the Narendra Modi government has increased the gas price even to the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana scheme by Rs 50. This is evidence of the central government’s exploitation. He said that during the last 12 years of BJP rule, our Narendra Modi’s debt has increased ten times more than the debt incurred by all the prime ministers who have ruled this country in the past. He said that the debt that is being taken in lakhs of crores and He said that the people of the country should be in a state of confusion, not knowing where the lakhs of crores coming from the increased goods and works are going. Despite the increase in taxes, no new industries have been established in the country to provide employment opportunities to anyone. He said that by tying the country’s wealth to corporate powers, the BJP is tying it to corporate powers that are in thrall to the RSS-friendly forces. He said that the indirect impact of petrol and diesel gas prices has led to the prices of daily necessities skyrocketing. He demanded that the increased gas, petrol and diesel prices be reduced immediately.
